ISSF Medals

Ten countries – USA, Cuba, Mexico, Guatemala, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Brasil, Chile, Canada – have won medals in shooting sport at the 18th Panamerican Games that took place in Lima, Peru. The first seven have also obtained Quotas to the Tokyo-2020 Olympic Games.

There were three events in the program of the last day of the competitions.

Christian Elliott from the USA won the Skeet Men. Second was Juan Schaeffer from Guatemala, third – Nicolas Pacheco from Peru. The bronze and silver medalists got the Quotas.

Another USA athlete Sandra Uptagrafft won the 25m Pistol Women. She ascended the podium of the Panamerican Games for the fifth time in a row! Diana Durango from Ecuador was second and, same as Uptafrafft, got the Olympic Quota.  Andrea Perez, also from Ecuador, finished on the third place.

Argentina won the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event, followed by the duos from the USA and Mexico.

Congratulations to the Organizing Committee of the 18th Panamerican Games, the Shooting Confederation of the Americas and the Peruvian National Sport Shooting Federation with the excellent celebration of the competitions!
