Team Air Arms Sweep the 2018 RSN10 Competition

October 14, 2018 By Tom McHale

Team Air ArmsThere are many different types of competition in the HFT world, but there are a few that have a “Must do” status and the RSN10 memorial shoot is certainly one of those.

The highly anticipated competition is one of the highlights of the Hunter Field Target shooting season. Now in it’s 8th year, the RSN10 took place on Sunday 2nd September at Northall Farm, Fletching, East Sussex, TN22 3SA.

The competition was open to all ages and abilities. There was an impressive collection of trophies up for grabs in each of the following classes: Open, .22, Ladies, Recoil, Veterans, junior 9-13 and junior 14-16. There was also a FREE raffle including the top prize of an Air Arms HFT 500.

Team Air Arms dominated the leader boards and walked away with every piece of silverware.

Jason Lockett continued his success in the .22 Class and won with his modified S400. In the Recoiling Class Danny Roff took his first ever win with his TX200HC. Karen O’Mara was victorious in the Ladies Class with her Pro-Target. In the Veterans Class, Mike Burgess was once again a winner with his FTP900. The Junior trophy was hotly contested and Scott Somerville won with his S200. Finally in the Open class, Jack Houghton was top shooter with his HFT-500.

This is the first time in the history of the RSN10 there has been a clean sweep of all the classes by a single manufacturer.

Air Arms Managing Director, Claire West was extremely proud of everyone. “ Each year The RSN10 gets bigger and better. We can’t thank everyone who not only participated, but helped put this amazing event together enough. It was the icing on the cake to see the Air Arms HFT team be so successful in all the classes. We can’t wait for 2019.”
