The National Shooting Sports Foundation®(NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its growing list of Regional Member Services Representatives — Tisma Juett and Quinn Cassidy. Professionals on this team provide highly personalized service to members in defined regions across the U.S., working side by side with FFL retailers, range owners and manufacturers to meet their needs and coordinate recruitment, reactivation and retainment efforts for the betterment of the entire firearms industry.
“Based on a wealth of feedback from our members, we identified a need for them to be able to connect more personally with the people behind their trade organization,” said Mike Vrooman, Managing Director, Member Services. “By literally going door to door and visiting with our members one on one, our Regional Member Services Representatives are better able to see and hear the issues that concern them and the challenges they’re facing. I’m excited to have Tisma and Quinn join this team and look forward to the improved relationships they’ll be bringing to our entire industry.”
Juett has been with NSSF since 2011 and has served in a variety of capacities, including her first role as Manager of the Foundation’s First Shots shooting introduction program and most recently as Manager of Inclusion and Outreach. A passionate outdoorswoman and avid shooting sports competitor, Juett has a strong reputation for inspiring others to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. In her new role, she will serve members the U.S. Northeast region, with a focus on those in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Cassidy joined NSSF earlier this year as a project consultant working on a nationwide member recruitment and retention initiative. A world traveler and avid hunter with a passion for all things outdoors, he is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a degree in business management, and his professional background includes sales and marketing positions with the International Hunters Education Association, Fish & Tackle Retailer, Babe Winkelman Productions and Gun Digest. Cassidy will be working with members in the Southeast, primarily in his home state of Florida.
“We are thrilled to add these two talented individuals to our Regional Member Services Representative team,” said Deb Kenney, NSSF Vice President, Human Resources and Administration. “For Tisma, this is a logical next step in her professional growth, as she has a natural talent for connecting with people and finding the solutions they need, often to problems they didn’t know they had. Quinn demonstrated many of these same qualities while working with us as a consultant, and those talents should well serve our members in Florida and the surrounding Southeast corridor, one of the most active shooting sports segments in the country. Our congratulations to both of them on their new roles.”
