Nearly 50 Team USA Athletes Competing at Junior World Championships Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun

Colorado Springs, Colorado– Nearly 50 USA Shooting juniors will compete in over 30 events at ISSF Junior World Championships at Las Palmas Shooting Range in Lima, Peru, September 28-October 9, 2021. Junior World Championships will test the nerves and skills of the top U.S. junior athletes and forge the sport’s future champions for generations to come.

The 47-person roster includes Olympic Champion Will Shaner and Silver Medalist Mary Tucker, Olympic Alternates Katelyn Abeln and Hunter Battig, as well as 2021 Junior Olympic National Champions Molly Mcghin, Remington Smith, Alishia Fayth Layne, Ben Keller, and Carey Garrison. Along with individual standouts, the roster boasts members of NCAA Rifle powerhouses like West Virginia University, University of Alaska Fairbanks, University of Kentucky, Murray State, Ole Miss, Army West Point, and Ohio State Pistol. New Team events at Junior World Championships include 10m Air Rifle Team Men, 10m Air Rifle Team Women, 10m Air Pistol Team Men, 10m Air Pistol Team Women, 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Team Men, 25m Pistol Team Women, 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team Men, 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team Women, Trap Team Men, Trap Team Women, Skeet Team Men, and Skeet Team Women.
