Houston, TX –Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF), is proud to announce the award of twenty-five (25) scholarships as part of its Dan L. Duncan Scholarship Program. The winners were chosen from hundreds of extremely qualified applicants.
Recipients must have a desire to protect and promote the sport of hunting and the principles of conservation. Applicants for these scholarships are undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Wildlife Management and/or Range Management. Recipients also demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities and complete a thorough application process including recommendations, transcript reviews, and in some cases, providing thesis information.
The HSCF/DLD Scholarship Selection Committee awarded twenty-five (25), $6,000 scholarships, totaling $150,000. To date, HSCF has awarded 550 scholarships totaling $2.4 million dollars.
