Final Scores Announced for 2021-2022 JROTC Three-Position Postal Championship

The results are in for the 2021-2022 JROTC Three-Position Postal Air Rifle Championship.

Over 8,570 entries were seen throughout the match, which ran from September to December. The competition and results were facilitated by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).

The JROTC Postal Championship is a three-position competition where high school sporter and precision air rifle athletes from across the country fire upon official targets at their home ranges and return them to the CMP Headquarters for scoring. Teams and individuals are ranked against one another, with top competitors moving on to the JROTC Service Championships – set to be held in Arizona, Alabama and Ohio in February 2022.

Finishing as the overall sporter competitor in the JROTC Postals was Maya Cameron, 17, of Nation Ford High School, South Carolina, with a score of 283-8X. Nicole Hunter, 17, of Walla Walla High School, Washington, topped the precision athletes with a score of 297-19X.
