Crosman Corporation, the trusted name in airgun innovation, showed off the Prospect, a new pre-charged pneumatic air rifle with an integral suppressor at SHOT Show 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The barrel has both an internal built-in suppressor and offers ½-20 muzzle threads to accept an external moderator to make it even more quiet.
Available in both .177 and .22 calibers, the Prospect runs on a 3,600 psi under barrel air cylinder that gives up to 50 shots between fills. The .177 rifle fires up to 1,000 feet per second and the .22 can reach 900 feet per second.
It uses a rotary magazine that automatically loads the next shot every time the side cocking lever actuates and holds 12 shots in .177 and 10 shots in .22.
The Prospect wears a durable, all-weather stock and has a Picatinny rail on top of the receiver for easy optics mounting. The regulator is optimized for shot-to-shot consistency to provide maximum power and precision throughout a string of fire.
The Prospect will retail for $319 and will be available by February 2024. To see the full lineup of Crosman air rifles, visit www.crosman.com.
