The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) invites you to participate in its 10th annual Anniston Marksmanship Center Dixie Doubles. This match offers 60- shot international air rifle standing and 60-shot air pistol events for open men and women and junior men and women. A Target Sprint event will be held after the final on Saturday afternoon, 3 November. The match is a two-day event where competitors will fire one 60-shot event on each of two days, 3 & 4 November 2018.
The CMP Anniston Competition Center features a 20,000 sq. foot state-of-the-art air gun range. The Competition Center has 80 firing points, all equipped with KTS electronic targets. All shots are instantly displayed on monitors beside each shooter and on display screens visible to spectators in the center area of the range. All firing is controlled by a computer operations center in the middle of the range. The USA National Team Rifle and Pistol Coaches plans to send National Team and National Development Team members to this competition to compete in this two-day event. The Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) is also sending some of their best to shoot in this competition as well. This is a great opportunity to shoot with some of the best shooter’s in the US!
