May 22, 2019 By Tom McHale

Airforce Airguns logoFt Worth, TX – AirForce Airguns, makers of the worlds most powerful production air rifles, and its sister company RAW Airguns are excited to announce their sponsorship of, and attendance at the 2019 Rocky Mountain Airguns Challenge to be held June 6th through the 9thin Springville, Utah. AirForce is the title sponsor for the long-range big bore match. RAW will be sponsoring the 25 meter benchrest match. Both events are designed to test shooters skill by putting them in competition with upwards of 160 other registered shooters during the 4-day competition.

Airforce/RAW will also, for the first time, be fielding a factory sponsored team at the match to compete in all events. Members of Team AirForce/RAW include:

Jeff Crissler, 1st place winner 2018 Open Class, USARB National Championship and returning R.M.A.C. competitor.

Abby Casey, Former NCAA Rifle competitor at Columbus State University, 2008 National JROTC Precision Team Champion, and 2008 GHSA 3 Position Air Rifle Champion; and,

Jack Copeland, 1st place winner 2018 Aguila Cup – Rimfire Limited match and 1st place winner 2017 Junior Class, 3-Gun Nation Southwest Regional Championship.

The 2019 Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge will be the second year for the annual event, and it has already become one of the premier air rifle related competitions, attracting competitors from all over the world. The event is hosted by Utah Airguns, a dealer of both AirForce and RAW Airguns.

“When the team at Utah Airguns reached out to us about continuing our sponsorship of the R.M.A.C. event in 2019 we knew we had to be on board.” Said AirForce marketing director Cameron Brinkerhoff. “Justin and his team at Utah Airguns did a fantastic job with the event last year and we are committed to helping the event grow in 2019 and well into the future. It really is kind of like a big family reunion for the airgun enthusiast community!”
