AirForce Airguns and Rapid Air Worx(RAW Air Guns) are pleased to announce that they will be product sponsors of the upcoming Northeast Airgun Classic set for April, 2024.
The Northeast Airgun Classic (NAC) will be hosted at the world famous Sig Sauer Academy in Epping, New Hampshire from April 17-21, 2024. The academy hosts several world class events and thus provides the perfect setting for the challenging Northeast Classic.
This is the second year the NAC will be held and it has already become a key event on the airgun competition calendar. The NAC features a 100 yard benchrest, a timed precision shooter challenge that takes full advantage of the Sig shooting course, a speed challenge to determine who has the best combination of speed and accuracy and the new Extreme Long Range event for big bore – minimum of 200 fpe – airguns only. The speed challenge will feature a never before seen finals event. Overall, the NAC is one of the more physically challenging airgun competitions of the year.
This year, AirForce and RAW are sponsoring this growing event to help bring more shooters and attendees to the world of modern tactical airgunning. AirForce and RAW are donating Texan air rifles in .257 caliber and the original .457 caliber as prizes. The AirForce Texan reset the standard for big bore air rifles and has continued to be the industry leader in calibers ranging from the .257 to the deer stopping .50.
“It is our pleasure to help sponsor this unique event,” said AirForce founder and CEO John McCaslin. “One of our goals at AirForce has always been to show that air rifles can be powerful and accurate enough to compete in tactical style matches. Our acquisition and expansion of the Rapid Air line of rifles has helped further this objective. We are excited about the new extreme long range event for big bores. Big bore accuracy has been one of our focuses at AirForce.”
AirForce Airguns remains at the forefront of the airgun industry, being the first to mass-produce high-quality PCP air rifles in the United States.
