Bloomfield, NY – Registration for the 2019 Crosman All-American Field Target Championship, which will be held June 21-23, 2019 in Rochester, NY, is now open.
Dedicated air gun competitors from around the globe can now register for the three-day competition which features multiple shooting matches including the main two-day rifle event
The Crosman All-American Field Target Championship will be held once again at the Rochester Brooks Gun Club, 962 Honeoye Falls #6 Road, Rush, NY 14543. “The Crosman All-American Field Target Championship is one of the must-attend events for Field Target airgunners,” said Mark DeBoard, Manager of Shooting Services for Crosman. “The Crosman Field Target Championship is a lot of fun for the entire family, we will have every level of competitor, from the novice just getting started to the world class competitor.”
There are five divisions and classes for competitors, Open, Hunter, WFTF, Freestyle and Pistol. In addition to the main rifle event, this year will also feature a pistol match and the Quigley Bucket Match.
Every registered participant is invited to the Friday night reception and every two day registered competitor receives a gear bag and food vouchers.
WFTF Division
This division is for you if you have a air rifle that doesn’t exceed 12 fpe at the muzzle, adjustable stocks are allowed and you can were any clothing you desire. Seating is allowed in this division as long as the seat isn’t more than 6 inches off the ground.
Hunter Division
In the Hunter Division your air rifle may not exceed 20 fpe from the muzzle. No jacket or harnesses are allowed, You can you any optic up to 16 power and may use a bipod. also, any form of seat without back or arms may be used. maybe used.
Open Division
The Open Division is for the person with all serious gear and that doesn’t have an air rifle that exceeds 20 fpe. All forms of clothing a permissible but in this event you can have body support straps, harnesses as long as they don’t support the gun. You can use any form of sighting and Seating is allowed in this division as long as the seat isn’t more than 6 inches off the ground.
Pistol Division
The Pistol Division is for air pistols only and the maximum caliber is .25 the muzzle energy is limited to 12 fpe. The barrel length may not exceed 15″ and overall length can’t be more than 25″. Attachment cylinders at the rear of the gun are not allowed. Also, no shooting jackets, slings, harnesses or shooting sticks are allowed.
