A Putnam County man’s invention is being sold in stores nationwide and across the world. Retired grandfather Charles Allen said he came up with his invention after spending time teaching his granddaughters to shoot targets. “They got bored shooting paper targets and wanted something more exciting,” Allen said. So he picked up a deflated soccer ball, pulled out the valve, placed it in a bottle cap and came up with the Big Blast Target Cap.
